You’re everything to me
That’s why I live happily
You’re one I’ll always love
Even when push come to shove
You’re my shining star
Even when better times seem far
You’re everything and more
And who I absolutely adore
You’re my motivation
When I’m in stagnation
You’re who a mother needs
Because you’re the best of my seeds
You are my heart
So we’ll never be apart
You make my life fulfilling
Even if the glass is spilling
With you, I have it all
And I cannot fall
I wanted to create a funny poem. I got inspiration from my daughter not letting me draw in peace. I hope you enjoy and can relate.. no, she doesn’t get my foot; 😂 I thought I’d make it clear because this is the era where everyone finds something offensive about everything.
You’re a parent. It’s okay to not be okay sometimes. Raising someone who constantly presses your buttons is taxing at times but at the end day you love them.
Drawing realistic animals in color isn’t my forte and I was a bit intimidated taking this on but here is the finished product. I’m more comfortable drawing realistic things grayscale style but I wanted to expand my horizons. I also decided to leave my brat daughter’s marks on them. 😁 BTW, today is the accurate date I completed it on.
“I love her dearly
She began life inside me
Now walks beside me.”
That was from one of my Haikus that I dedicated to my brat. Here is our completed abstract piece.. it was supposed to be of “Piccorine” but she added her touch to it. No, it’s not the Piccorine drawing I posted last time; she hasn’t and won’t touch that one. Enjoy!
I’m not done yet but here’s what we’ve got thus far.
With help from my jerk toddler. She thought adding blue and red to it would be fitting. It’s okay; I’ll leave the marks again. I’m sure anyone who uses Prisma pencils or Staedtler pencils cringe at the thought of a toddler handling them.
An apology I have to accept even though one was never given and probably never be given.
So, my little brat wanted to add her two cents in my drawing.. and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 😊
